Turning your side-projects into profitable micro-startups - Issue #48
So I've been building my personal website. As I focus more on the gig economy and passion economy. Especially working from home or anywhere in public.
As a seasoned bootstrapped founder I want to find new ways to brand myself, build projects, grow my ideas and make money from it. Yes many of us wanting to start a community, newsletters and so much more. I decided to micro everything and put things together. From projects, commissions, blogposts, community discussions, podcasts, vlogging, and I'm planning to make my own marketplace where I use stripe + buy me a coffee + gumroad perhaps. Here are some of the links and things I do that I have put together to redirect the links using netlify.

I also look for articles and communities about micro startups. I don't want to build a project that costs so much and saves time. I like the idea of being bootstrapped + independent on my projects. So I created a discussion group here at IH you can join if you are building your micro startups and your other or next micro-x's. The ultimate goal is to learn from other founders who are building their projects and turning them into profitable ones. I also look for articles and communities about micro startups. I don't want to build a project that costs so much and save time. I like the idea of being bootstrapped & independent on my projects. Building one small feature as a minimum viable product will be good to validate towards lean startup method. Some other things I've seen like MUP (Usable), MMP (Marketable), MLP (Loveable), MSP (Sellable) and even (SLC) simple, loveable & complete.

I found some ways to tweak things online and keep it organized & categorize while doing my side projects and also turning it into a profitable business. https://fajarsiddiq.com/microstartups place where I put my domain and things I have to complete soon.
I like to keep it short sharp and simple. I have my other businesses to grow and also things I learned. Also, I like to share things that I do and information that is useful to others and nothing beats consistency and growth. https://www.indiehackers.com/post/micro-everything-3951fbeeaf
I saw this pattern for 2 years and is not something it should be. It should be redirecting me to "Marie-kondo" everything. As it gets overwhelmed, I want to micro-manage everything. I just name it "micro-x" or "micro everything". Things should be simple and effective. I wrote a short article to get a glimpse of it. https://www.indiehackers.com/post/turning-your-side-projects-into-a-profitable-micro-startups-321299e321
